Digital Security Institute has recently been approved to audit the NIS2 Quality Mark. Stichting kwaliteitsinnovatie (The Quality Innovation Foundation, owner of the NIS2 Quality Mark) has assessed organizations on quality, standards and audit techniques. We are delighted to be included as an audit partner. Only certification bodies and organizations recognized by the Quality Innovation Foundation may apply for and issue the NIS2 Quality Mark certificate.
NIS2 is expected to enter into force in the Netherlands in Q3 2025 (under the name Cyberbeveilgingswet, cbw). Around 10,000 organizations need to comply to NIS2. According to NIS2 legislation, these organizations are responsible for securing their supply chain. In the Netherlands, there are an estimated 50,000 to 70,000 suppliers that may pose a risk. The NIS2 Quality Mark is a useful tool for managing risks and improving cybersecurity in the supply chain.
Across Europe, around 400,000 organizations are covered by NIS2, with up to 1.8 million suppliers. With the NIS2 Quality Mark developed in the Netherlands, supply chain security can be improved. As an audit partner, we are proud to be able to contribute.
